I Have Only Just A Minute by Benjamin E. Mays
“I have only just a minute. Only sixty seconds in it. Forced upon me, can’t refuse it. Didn’t seek it, didn’t choose it. But it’s up to me to use it. I must suffer if I lost it. Give account if I abuse it. Just a tiny little minute, but eternity it in it.”
Dr. Mays did not write this poem. He repeated it frequently, but never claimed authorship. He attributed it to “Anonymous”. You do a disservice to his memory by erroneously attributing authorship to him.
Thank you.I will make the corrections.
